Public hunting vs. Private land

Public hunting vs. Private land

How many of you guys hunt public land turkeys vs. private? And .......just because you are hunting private(club) land doesn't mean it;s not equal too public! I hunt a club but birds get so much pressure during the spring it may as well be considered public!

I'm always on pressured public land. But i go into the hills just that lil ways farther and sometimes it pays off . Most times i just run into the Black Bears back there

This year i been hunting a small P/P spot for deer and there are a TON of BIG Tom Turkey on it. I can only use my x-bow there , but i think i'm gonna give that a try on the first week.

Got ya! I hunt,so called private land(hunt club) but we have a good number of decent turkey hunters involved so,as tuff as public ground as I've hunted! Our club has several different tracts ranging from 500-1,500 acres they usually will get hunted just about every day during the season from one or more of our members!

Sounds like your private get's as much pressure as some of the public i find.. Over the past few years, i can count on 1 hand the folks i seen back in the woods during turkey , deer & bear. Small game get's a lil bust but still very decent.
