Unread postby QUACKHEAD » Sun Oct 01, 2017 8:08 am

I stuck it out out,it started out as a beautiful calm cool morning hearing coyotes howling and barking in the distance.my morning hunt showed nothing but doe' s.i went home took a nap and headed back in the tree at 3:00.it was windy and overcast but I knew the deer would move later .530 came along nothing 545 there he is came out of the thick scrub pines slowly moving towards me .he got to 30 yds broadside and entered my field of death .I put my mark rite behind the shoulder and my wasp hammer sst125 fixed blade put a world of hurt on him .I went to recover my kill and he's was a nice 8 pt from the statewoods of the nj swamps I was very excited about how my hard work payed off .he wasn't my target buck but in statewoods you can't be too chose.great way to start my season with a great 8 pt bow kill.put team DEAD DEER WALKIN ON THE BOARD
