It was too hot to sit baking in a center console and fish today so I did the next best thing. Jumped in and raked up 60 top neck and littleneck clams. the water was refreshing.
My biggest fear is that when I die my wife will sell my guns and fishing rods for what I told her I paid for them.

Nice job when do we eat. LOL
I was down in Somers Point today just doing some recon.
Checked out the Rt. 52 bridge, stoped at all the fishing piers didn't see much going on.
Went over by the other bridge going into Ocean City (don't remember the name of the road)
People fishing over there but every one said they had no luck. Probably wouldn't say if they did. LOL
Looks like I'll be a Somers point resident sometime in August.

Jettydog moving to Somers Point? You do know that means you have to officially convert to a Flyers Fan right!

Where did you get that rake Gene? I use one that I got from Home Depot but yours looks like it has an extra tine and the tines look thinner/sharper. Also, if you used to work for verizon, I used to work for you in Marlton facs back in the early 90's and now work in the same garage as your son.

Yep, I'm a Verizon retiree. I'm guessing you are George. That rake was homemade by a friend of mine. He doesn't make them any more. There is a company called Clam Out http://www.clamout.com that makes nice rakes. They sell them at Whale Creek marina.

As I remember you were quite the deer slayer.

Thanks Gene, I'll check out that website. I've got 31 years and am waiting for the next eisp...plan on buying a new boat and spend my time fishing and hunting all day.
