Full Moon/High Tide Fishing...Reality or Myth ???

Full Moon/High Tide Fishing...Reality or Myth ???

Unread postby Zamboni » Mon Jul 10, 2017 7:53 pm

In all my years of fishing I have never witnessed a bite onslaught when fishing full moon high tide. The bite in my experience is no different. I have more luck fishing at a certain time of day than any tide or phase of moon.

What i have noticed over the years of hunting and fishing, During the full moon those are the worse days to be doing either. I am rock set on 3 days before and after a full moon for the best action in both seasons.

Even the night hunting predators seems to slow or shut down when the moon is full.

I have never really noticed much of a difference but I feel that maybe the full moon just
creates to much light and compromises the cover of darkness. Just a thought.
