Buck Retreat camping trip part 2

Unread postby tomcbigbucks » Sat Nov 01, 2014 6:16 pm

Well Mcos24 posted about the trip already but it is great just getting away with friends.
Saturday 83 year Uncle Joe and Uncle Dirt come down for lunch and hear a recap.
It's for most of us Old School, were we get pumped for a doe and know if she offers a shot arrows are flying, no worrying about points and if he is big enough.
Definitely adds to the excitement when hearing the crunch of leaves :D :D :D

So for the majority Saturday is about just hanging and relaxing by the fire telling lies, I mean stories.
But thanks to my new job I haven't had much time to hunt so I went hunting across the blueberry field.
Was an interesting hunt, first time I ever listened to music while hunting, even though I was 700 yards away could still hear the music at the fire and occasional laughing.

At 5:30 hear comes 2 last year does :D :D yea baby then behind them a big old mamma :D :D :D

Uhha game on, she had an expiration date, waited for a perfect shot but Steven the owner let out a real loud laugh and she got nervous so took the shot, one lung and liver. Watched hear run my with blow flowing :D

barbecue chicken over open flame, was awesome.
Fire was kicking and old glory flying the whole time!
