Went out today on the Sea Horse Party boat out of the Atlantic Highlands. - I got the pool fish! 23" long around 4 -4.5lbs.
Had a kid holding it down to take a picture of it on the stick and he couldn't hold it still.

Lots of action, but not all fluke. a gazillion sea robins - a few skates, dog fish and a bunch of short fluke. Only 4 keepers on the boat today. Got mine on the last drift. It was on a jig head that WAS once inside a soft bait shad - but it got bitten too many times and it wasn't useable anymore, so I just used the metal inside and a mixture of different baits. Captain asked me if I was trying to choke the fish. (hey it worked didn't it?). One of the mates have his kids working. They know what they are doing, but when it came to netting my fish - HE MISSED! Adult grabbed the net and netted. boy what a relief! :D Won the pool! YES!

Hope I put this in the right forum this time.

Ok I'll be honest here...After this topic gets bumped off the first page you have to go and search for it...I rarely search for topics after they leave the first home page, sometimes its difficult to find things because their is a lot of categories... on some other sites it is easy to see an active posting because it moves to the top and stays their as long as it is active.. ..Maybe its just me but I think an active post should be on the top to make it easier to find.......just my 2 cents and answer to your question....

Guys I cells I recommend using Tapatalk, it links you to all your forums you use and will alert you to responses from all sites when you get a response.
You also can set up notify me when someone responds thru our control panel if desired. I like using Tapatalk from a cell though, I do use both methods though.

Good luck Hooker, remember to take a picture. ;)
