We took Emma and her dad fishing yesterday for some end of the season back bay fluke fishing. We fished on both sides of the Brigantine Bridge trying to get out of the 20 to 25 mph NE wind as best we could. We were able to catch 10 fluke to 17.5 inches and over 20 sea bass. It was cool, windy, and rough. We didn't see another boat fishing all day although some fisherman were on the inlet beach. There are only three days left in fluke season, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed hoping to catch the last keeper of the season.
