I switched this year to the Rapala Skitterwalk as my go-to for sod bank plugging.
This lure draws a lot of attention but my hook up ratio is about one in five.
I will have small bass make four and five passes at this lure in one retrieve.
I guess they are just pissed off because they don't seem to try to bite it.

My biggest fear is that when I die my wife will sell my guns and fishing rods for what I told her I paid for them.

Nice man! I used to fish the sods in great bay area at night. Black and purple bombers, pink fin-s and creek Chubbs worked great. Cant beat a striper exploding on a plug!

That's one of the best plugs out there stick with it and I'm sure you will be pleasantly surprised. Be sure to not stop when getting strikes.
