6-7 Fluke Report

6-7 Fluke Report

So I always get asked," why do you feel the need to post reports on social media?" Yesterday is a perfect example on why I do it. Because of this, I have met some quality people over the years who share the same passions in life as I do, both in the field and on the water. Because of this site I got to meet and fish with another solid down to earth person from this site. Introduced to me through MVPGene who I also became friends with on here. I do not know his screen name on this site and maybe he will chime in but I know he is a long time lurker.
So now to the fishing part, Mike and I fished are arses off yesterday. A marathon 10 hour day trying to fill out limit of fluke. The weather was beautiful and the water wasn't too bad, the cleanest i've seen all season. But me and mike could not shake the short fluke and put any size away into the cooler. Safe to say we boated ahhhhh 75 or so fish, give or take, with just 5 fish to 19 1/2' making the cut. We gave it hell and probably would still be there if the afternoon storms didn't chase us off. Even though it wasn't a boat limit day we still got fishy and enjoyed the day. Nice day to play hookey from work, be on the water and meet a good dude. We'll get them next time.......

You met me in the parking lot with 2 boxes of empty brass, I never got a warm and fuzzy social media post.

Nice job though... great day for it

Men in uniform intimidate me

I guess the qualifying, or in my case "un-qualifying" factor was "met some good people"
