Bears in Bedminster

Now is the time the bears come around - they are not afraid of people and will walk right at you no matter how much you yell or make noise. One even grabbed my grandson's ball and it popped in his face. (we did get a chuckle with that). Last year I had one so aggressive tearing up my porch and trying to get into my shed and up on his hind feet only feet away from us, I had to get the shotgun out and let off 2 blasts to scare it away. We tried to chase this bear away when he found our trash can, but he just smiled for the camera or give us "the claw"! The younger one stuck his tongue out at us! Kids!

Keep the tradition alive. Take a youngster hunting or fishing!
