This will be a 3 fish combined weight tournament.
The heaviest combined weight wins!

We will be having an informal Captains meeting on Sunday the 19th at 6pm. The captain's meeting is not mandatory and rules are available in the store. Thanks

Cape May Flounder Tournament Rules
1) All participants must be paid and registered in the tournament by 7am on July 23rd. Entry fee entitles 5 anglers to fish. A maximum of 6 anglers per boat is allowed. But the additional angler will incur a $25 extra entrance fee and must be registered.
2) Boats may fish in any back bay waters from Cape May to Absecon Bay. There is no offshore boundary.
3) The boat and/or a registered member of the team must check in before fishing by 9am. If a member does not check in the fish will considered, taking a lay day.
4) All participants must follow all applicable rule, regulations and licensing in regards to both fishing and boating. This includes all anglers must be current with their NJ Saltwater Recreational Registration.
5) This is a Captain’s choice tournament; it is the responsibility of the Captain to deem if the conditions are safe for the vessel and crew.
6) For the small boat Calcutta the boat must be less than 21ft according to the registration. In the event of a tie in weight, time of weigh in will determine the winner.
7) All fish must be caught by rod and reel.
8) All fish may be subject to examination. If there is any question as to the freshness of the fish. The tournament director will make the final call. The condition of the fish is the responsibility of tournament participants.
9) Any participants attempting to weigh-in a fish deemed by the tournament director to be speared, gill netted, gaffed, frozen, or altered in any way, will be disqualified from the tournament, forfeit the entry fee and be ineligible for any prizes.
10) For the 3 fish aggregate category, the angler has 3 fish slots over 2 days of fishing. Once a slot is filled there will be no substitutes. The decision to use a slot must be made at the time of weigh in. The responsibility falls solely on the angler.
11) All fish weighed for a category either 3 fish or Calcutta, will have a fin cut off or be left with the weigh master until the tournament ends
12) Fish weighed in the 3 fish category DO NOT COUNT in the single fish calcuttas
13) Scales will open at 4pm and close at 6pm every day of fishing. The angler weighing the fish must be on Hinch Marina property either on land or in the basin, by 5:45pm to be eligible for weigh-in.
14) The person bringing the fish to the scales must be on the signup sheet.
15) No more than 6 anglers per boat.
16) It is the intention of The Cape May Flounder Tournament and its staff to run a fair, honest, and professional tournament. Common sense and “spirit of the rule” shall apply at all times.
17) Once the fish arrives on site for weigh ins, the fish must be made available to weigh in within 10 minutes.
18) NO REFUNDS
19) ALL DECISIONS MADE BY THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR/WEIGH MASTER ARE FINAL.

WE will be having our 9th Fishing Tournament at Port of Blarney
Sunday May 17th, 2015.
Sign in starts at 6:00 a.m. and the Tournament kicks off at 7:00 a.m ,

Weigh in is at 2:00 p.m sharp Entry fee is 40.00

There will be 5 categories
